Customer’s Problem
The customer needed a quick and reliable way to remove rust and scale from pipeline pipes ranging from 120mm to 295mm from the ends. They were using hand grinders with wire cup brushes to do the work and it proved to be very time consuming and labor intensive.
Tri Tool’s Solution
Tri Tool developed a Pipe Brushing Assembly. that could mount on the faceplate of a PFM1632 or PFM3248 using existing mounting holes and features. It had a cam feature that could engage and retract the brushes into the pipes.
Benefits
The new tool can now rapidly removal of rust and scale from pipeline pipes. Performing this task in the future will now be less time consuming and labor intensive.
