Sara Henson
Vice President of Field Services
A dynamic leader who thrives in hands-on environments, Sara Henson is the Vice President of Field Services, bringing over a decade of experience in welding engineering and project management in the oil and gas industry to Tri Tool's global operations.
As the Vice President of Field Services, Sara oversees Tri Tool's Field Services business which provides trained Field Machinist and Field Technicians to customers worldwide. The Field Services business focuses on providing solutions with Tri Tool's standard equipment and with the support of the Engineering MissionBuilt™ solutions when needed. The Field Services team strives to exceed customer's expectations of project execution and customer service. Sara is directly responsible for implementing and ensuring best practice methodologies and programs to support safe service performance, as well as developing efficient operations with goals of first pass quality and on-time services. Under her leadership, Tri Tool Field Services continue to exceed expectations of productivity, efficiency, and quality, with a global team ready to mobilize anywhere in the world within 24 hours.
Prior to joining Tri Tool, Sara was a project manager and welding engineer at Acute Technological Services where she simultaneously managed several teams of engineers and welding technicians both domestically and internationally for offshore oil and gas projects. In these positions, she successfully delivered multiple, multi-million dollar projects with positive margin and on-schedule delivery. Through her previous role, Sara has been a customer of Tri Tool, which enables her to better understand and connect with customer expectations and needs.
Sara is a degreed welding engineer from The Ohio State University, and she holds a Master's in engineering management from The Pennsylvania State University. She is also a longtime member of the American Welding Society and holds a Level 2 certification from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
