Alex Muhs

Head of Operations

Alex is the newest member of Tri Tool's Strategic Leadership Team - leading the Manufacturing Operations group consisting of Machining, Assembly, Quality Assurance, Production Planning, Maintenance, and ES&H. The Operations Team is continually focused on delivering world-class results in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.

Alex joins Manufacturing Operations from the Tri Tool Sales Organization. Additionally, Alex brings nearly 20 years of experience - including prior roles in Operations Leadership, Program Management, Engineering, Lean/Six Sigma, Quality Assurance, and Global Distribution - with specialization in production Machining, Electromechanical Assembly, and Tool Design/Fabrication.

While earning his BS and MS in Engineering from the University of Michigan, Alex worked at Ford Motor Company's Livonia Transmission plant. He then joined Lockheed Martin's Operations Leadership Development Program - eventually leading Production Operations for Programs such as HELLFIRE, PAC3, and THAAD. He then transitioned to the EWIE Group of Companies, becoming a Business Unit Manager for Key Customers throughout North America.
