Socket Weld Removal Kit
The Socket Weld Removal/Sever-Bevel Kit for 1/2" to 2 1/2" pipe sizes
incorporates a Model 601SB and a Model 602.5SB Clamshell. For socket
weld removal operations, a clamshell is mounted to the line pipe with
the tool bit positioned over the seal weld, the auto-feed tool module
then feeds the socket weld removal tool bit radially down to the
surface of the pipe. The socket weld tool bits and tool modules also
allow seal weld cutting between pipe and bulkheads. The clamshells can
also be configured for sever/bevel operations.

The Model CBM-1 Counterbore Module Kit is a mechanical accessory to Tri Tool Models 601SBM, 602,5SBM and 602TSB Clamshells that provides the capability to counterbore pipe after an in-line spool has been removed. The counterbore module kit mounts to Tri Tool's 601SBM and 602.5SBM or 602TSB standard tool blocks and is infinitely adjustable to allow most counterbore diameters consistent with the clamshell to which the module is mounted. Kit includes on basic assembly, mounting adaptor and two tool bits.
Model CBM -2 Counterbore Module Kit
The Model CBM-2 Counterbore Module Kit is a mechanical accessory to Tri Tool Models 604SB through 612Sb Clamshells that provides the capability to counterbore pipe after an in-line spool has been removed. The counterbore module kit mounts to Tri Tool's P/N 08-0037 standard tool block or Tri Tool's 08-0049 extended tool block and is infinitely adjustable to allow any counterbore diameter consistent with the clamshell to which the module is mounted. Kit includes one Counterbore Module Assy, mounting adaptor and two tool bits.
Model CBM -3 Counterbore Module Kit
The Model CBM-3 Counterbore Module Kit is a mechanical accessory to Tri Tool Models 616SB/636SB Clamshells and 614RBL/636RBL Clamshells. The counterbore module provides the capability to counterbore pipe after an in-line spool has been removed. The Counterbore Module Kit mounts to Tri Tool's large SB Series and RBL series tool blocks and is infinitely adjustable to allow any counterbore diameter consistent with the range of the specific clamshell.

The Weld Crown Grinder is the perfect portable solution to the removal of weld crowns after pipe welding. This machine is extremely valuable to meet critical requirements of weld finishing for nondestructive testing, ultrasonic testing, and x-raying. It prevents any undercutting of the parent metal surrounding the weld and adjusts for any misalignment in fit up from out-of roundness. A spring tensioned sanding belt drum is lowered until surface tracking rollers come in contact with the pipe surface, automatically setting the depth of grind.

Single Point Machining
212B, 224B and 230B Single Point Kits

Single point machining allows more flexibility of cut for complex machining operations and compound bevel angles. Portable beveling machinery produces bevel angles primarily through the use of form tool bits that have angled cutting edges. Form tool bits can only generate bevel angles predetermined by their cutting surface. Single point machining utilizes generic cutting bits that produce bevels based on the feed angle, and direction of the bit holder. This permits the production of basic as well as compound bevel profiles with the same bit.
Single point kits have been designed to provide extended cutting capabilities for the Model 212B, 224B, and 230B. This means you can perform a much wider variety of end uses with the same equipment without the need to buy additional tools.

Elbow Mandrel Kit

Where the curves of a tee or elbow prevent the use of ramp blocks, an elbow mandrel grips the fitting by means of a series of contact pins. The pins slide in and out from the center of the head. A threaded push rod with a tapered end presses the pins outward for engagement with the ID bore.

Sleeve Mandrel Kit

The nylon sleeve mandrel is used to protect thin wall pipe from marring. A full-contact expanding sleeve is pressed against the bore by tightening a threaded rod. The rod draws back on an endplate, pulling the sleeve against a tapered core, simultaneously rounding the pipe.

Miter Mandrel Kit

Miter mandrels compensate for misalignment, or are used in irregular openings. Individual, threaded contact pins center and secure the head. A ball & socket system with bolts on the face of the head adjust angular offset up to 5 deg. in all directions.

OD Tracking Module

OD Tracking Modules are the perfect solution to counter out-of-round conditions of pipe. Manufacturing, shipping and storage can cause pipes to be considerably misshaped. Machinery that mounts on the ID or OD surface of the pipe has a fixed axis of rotation. This leads to non-uniform weld prep profiles as measured around the circumference of the pipe end after cutting. The OD Tracking module utilizes a spring loaded tracking wheel that "reads" the surface distance from the rotational centerline of mounting and rotation. In this way the weld profile dimensions follow the pipe shape for proper prep geometry.

SQM-1 and SQM-2 Squaring Module

Get the maximum value from your severing machine with our optional squaring module. After a sever is complete, the squaring module can be quickly positioned to square the tube end precisely. A manual feed allows the operator to precisely control the depth of cut. The squaring module's design allows it to be pivoted inward and locked over the tube end when squaring.
